Jagat World’s community-based projects are an outgrowth of research performed on the local level. Each community is assessed using six quality of life indicators along with community surveys. Based on the needs of the area, we provide educational training, community economic development, and assistance in shaping local policies to meet the needs of disadvantaged communities.
Conducting field research is the first step towards understanding a community’s needs. Through interviews, community forums, and surveys our field research builds trust allowing for honest conversations to occur. Jagat World creates a safe environment for members to discuss community problems and solutions. We empower community members by providing them with the tools to improve their quality of life.
Jagat World currently works in The Bluff area of West Atlanta, Georgia, and the Ramana Mutyallama community of Visakhapatnam, AP, India.
Community Projects:
"The Bluff” refers to a run-down section of West Atlanta, officially named English Avenue. Notorious for drug dealers and addicts, The Bluff has been labeled one of the worst places to live in Atlanta, Georgia. Jagat World researches Quality of life issues in the area to assist in developing local policies to improve the community.
